The Puff Rider?s meant to be ridden hard and put away wet. Its tear-resistant ripstop polyester shell has a Deluge? DWR (durable water repellent) finish and double-layer nylon twill panels at critical areas for better abrasion-resistance and wet-through prevention. A highly compressible layer of 200-g Quallofil? insulation provides serious warmth while articulated elbows allow ease of movement. Additional weather-stopping details: anatomical hook-and-loop-closure cuffs; a nonchafing fleece-lined collar; a hidden zippered chest pocket; insulated handwarmer pockets; a full-length wind flap behind the zipper; a fit-securing integrated drawcord hem; and an easy-glide mini powder skirt that snap-loops into the coordinating Puffski Pants. Great Jacket

I bought this jacket for my 10 year old grandson to use for skiing and as a clean-up jacket. He has another jacket also bought this season for play. After only a week owning his Patagonia Kids Puff Rider he will not wear any other jacket. He says he can MOVE IN his puff Rider.

A perfect jacket for a mountain kid who skis or spends the winter in the snow. Great hood covers head over a helmet or hat or don't need a hat with this hood. Easy access to gloves with the sleeves. Awesome and burly!
