The Drifter combines the comfort of lower-cut shoe construction with the full panoply of supportive hiking-boot features: a water-resistant full-grain leather upper with bellows tongue a dual-density recycled polyethylene/polyurethane insole for lateral support on uneven terrain and a Vibram? Ecostep? (up to 30% recycled rubber) lug outsole. An air-cushioning disk in the 15% recycled EVA foam midsole also helps heel stability. The 70% recycled synthetic-cork footbed has a carbon component with antimicrobial qualities and the fast-wicking quick-drying Capilene? lining has natural odor control. The leather meets ISO-14001 standards for environmental stewardship.
