Patagonia Micro Puff Hooded Jacket - Men's Patagonia: Micro Puff Hooded Jacket - Men's

This lightweight jacket provides windproof water resistant insulation in a highly compressible earth-friendly fabric package.

In winter's variable conditions from high-peak blizzards to frozen valley rain nothing beats efficient high-loft insulation that won't wilt in the wet. That's why our Micro Puffs use top-quality synthetic fill surrounded with a durable windproof and water-repellent shell fabric. And they just got more earth-friendly: The shell and insulation are now made from recycled polyester. The hood fits over a helmet and adjusts for both volume and face circumference; the main zipper is DWR (durable water repellent) coated. Pocketry: one chest two handwarmers and two interior drop-in mesh pockets for drying gloves. Includes a drawcorded hem and a stuff sack. The regular fit is sized to wear over layers.

I have a size large vest so I ordered a size large jacket. Patagonia frequently sizes stuff on the generous side and the large size was too big. I exchanged for a size Med and it was perfect. The jacket is very warm and perfect for those days of rotten weather. The hood works very well and is equally warm. Works good with the hood down too. I'm very satisfied with the jacket and will wear it here in Arkansas and in Montana next winter. I can layer under it and wear a raincoat over the top for Montana winter flyfishing. I've never been disappointed with Patagonia stuff---real quality.

As long as you use it correctly.... Image: 5 Stars

Well I live in Flagstaff AZ and this coat is as functional as it gets for a late fall-early winter walk to the coffee shop or just standing around. Anymore of a physical outing than that...i.e. biking...and this coat ceases to be useful..imo...just too hot to be an active coat. Needs pit zips to make it breathe....otherwise another great product by Patagonia.

perfect. even when wet. Image: 5 Stars
